The Quest Continues

SmugMug Daily Link

I took pics of a lot of things in my yard.  Mostly I enjoyed the Swallowtails on the Yoshino Cherry tree.  My neighbors are now convinced that I'm nuts standing out there for so long staring up at the white blooms in search of butterflies.

This cute squirrel kept me company in a nearby tree.

And these very tiny butterflies fluttered past too.

In my neighbor's yard, this pink dogwood began to open.  I might would have posted this shot as my daily if it weren't for that branch on the right which I saw when I took the shot but could not avoid.  The light, pinks, and blues are so pretty.

A lower angle on the same tree.  I liked the bokeh.

Soon some of the goldfinch will migrate away.  In the meantime, they are the most popular birds at my feeders right now, and their pretty gold feathers are coming back in.

Our goldfinches left here about 3 weeks ago. :-(

Funny, they spent summer in Omaha, winters here in FL.
