Durham has a fantastic business called The Scrap Exchange. They accept donations for and then sell all sorts of scrap materials like buttons, fabric, paper, plastic lids and bottles, tiles, etc. The Steve Gerberich workshop the other days used items from the Scrap Exchange.

I had another 4 month breast cancer check-up today, and everything is fine. Afterward, I met up with my friend, Debbie,, and we had lunch and then shopped at the Scrap Exchange. The art in my daily was made by local artists using materials from the store and was hanging on the walls.

I used a combination of CEP filters to give an even more artsy flair to the shot.
