The boys and I have a membership to the Durham Museum of Life and Science, and even though we live over an hour away, we try to make one trip a month. This trip, and last time too, we took our friend Madi with us. Of all the places we visit, we really enjoy the museum and all the activities there are to do there. We spent 6 hours there today, and the time just flew by. There are buildings with lots of cools things to do, but we find ourselves outside for the majority of our visit each time winter and summer. The kids love the playground, music, and farmyard animals. I love the wetlands area and all the birds, insects, amphibians, and reptiles just waiting to have their pictures taken. We enjoy the bears, wolves, and lemurs too not to mention our train ride...especially the tunnel part. Oh, and let's not forget the joy of holding a newly released butterfly. Every time, that is a thrill.
If you haven't been in a while, or maybe never, delight your kids and yourself and make a trip to the museum.
The best pics from today are here.
